The Challenge
The association lacked a modern digital identity, making it difficult to reach members, document their rich cultural history (Abuakwa, Kotoku, and Bosome), and manage membership applications manually. They required a professional, accessible platform that board members could update easily without technical expertise.
The Solution
I architected a high-performance web application using Next.js and Tailwind CSS. By integrating Sanity CMS, I empowered the association's leadership to manage events, news, and complex documentation in real-time. The site features a custom-built membership portal and is fully optimized for mobile responsiveness to cater to members during live cultural gatherings.
Impact
- Unified Presence: Established a professional digital gateway for the Akyem community in the Georgia region.
- Operational Efficiency: Successfully digitized the membership onboarding process, reducing administrative overhead.
- Cultural Preservation: Created a central, searchable repository for the association's history and philanthropic achievements
